Would have been useful to know when he remarried. Having looked it up it was in 1938. There's only one Margaret Childs death in Bedford, but it looks to be the daughter - age 18 in the June quarter 1934.

Hi thanks, I should have told you when he remarried sorry, I had Margaret's birth but no death did you happen to notice a Gordon Afred Childs, and Ernest Childs deaths, I have their births

there is only 1 gordon.a.childs birth between1904-1906 and that is your one so i would say that the death was him

thanks I think you are right, Gordon seems a funny name to have in England in 1905 I dont think there were any scots links then
