help looking for agnes christie before 1866 ,she married in whithorn 1867 cannot find her on census before then

Agnes age 2  She was born in 1849

1861  census address Galas Outon Cot House  Whithorn

Three more children in family  Jane , John and Charlotte also two grandchildren.

If she Married Samuel RENNIE, 03 Oct 1867 (IGI) ;
1871 she is born c 1845 Mochrum, Step/Daug Elizabeth Christie is with them age 5.
1881 born c 1846 Mochrum
1891 born c 1843 Garliestown (Husband not at home)
1901 born c 1847 Sorbie

Was Elizabeth Illeg or was Agness Married before?
If so then she would be under another Surname 1851/1861

Parents of Agnes Christie from the  marriage cert - Wiilliam Christie, labourer and Elizabeth, m.s. Cook.  Agnes either 24 or 26 in 1867 (a spinster)  - so born circa 1842

As we cant look at actual Scottish Census images this may be worth loooking at;
Agness CHRISTON, born c 1846, Mouchrom, Wigtown, with Parents William born c 1825, Sorby, and Elizabeth c 1824, Ireland. Elizabeths Sister is with them also.

1861 the Family is under CHRISTINE, Agnes born c 1843, Mochrum
1871 Agnes has left home and William is under CHRISTIAN c 1825, Sorbie.

IGI has a Summitted Marriage of William CHRISTEN to Elizabeth McCLUNG 1842.

The only thing I suggest is you download the 1867 M/C to solve this

Elizabeths Sister in 1851 is a Cown

Both of her parents are alive in 1867 (or not down as deceased!) so their death certs might be worth looking at to get their parents - if  they died in Scotland.

Will check for death dates as a start.

Someone has a Tree with the same Census I have found with Elizabeth as nee COOK, Married 05 April 1842, Sorbie, Wigtown.
