On Andrew's marraige cert of 1899, Wigtown,  to Jeanie Hannah, his mother is given as Elizabeth m.s Williamson

I'm now puzzled - she's down as Cook on his birth record and on the daughters' marriage certs, yet Andrew maintains that she's a Williamson
