My family are truly mixed up. So Edward Fear met & married Bessie Bray & had six children. Bessie dies and he then marry's Florence Jones and has a few more children, he dies & she then meets another Edward, and has another child. I knew of the second family but never suspected a third. Hang on a minute!
We don't even know for certain if Florence's husband was the same man as Bessie's!
And where did the 3rd Edward come into things?!

You shouldn't make such wild assumptions without some evidence (i.e. certificates) to back it up!

Let's go back to your opening post. 

My 2 x great grandfather Edward Fear married Elizabeth Jane (aka Bessie Tamar) nee Bray married 30 Mar 1888 at Baptist Church, Axbridge. I believe there was 5 or more children born, Ernest, Francis, Albert, Elsie & May.

"I believe" sounds to me as though you are not really sure.

Which of their children are you descended from and do you have that childs birth cert confirming that mother was Elizabeth Jane Bray?

If not - how do you know you have the right marriage

i am not making assumptions, I know of this family, the only thing I didnt know was when Bessie died & who  Edward married. I didnt know of Phyllis but I knew the names of nearly all the children. Thanks anyway regards Trish
