Hi,

I am looking for help in finding a birth/baptism for a Hester Naish, born around 1800 in Wellow, Somerset.
She married George Goodenough on the 23rd March 1826 in Wellow and had a son, James, born in July 1828.
She was widowed and married a George Porch on the 1st June 1830 in Wellow.
She and George can be easily found on the 1841 and 1851 census; Hester died in 1853.
However, I know nothing of her birth or parents, can anyone help?

Hi there

freereg.org.uk have parish register transcriptions for Wellow St Julian (her marriages to both George's are shown there) but I can't see Hester's baptism , however  4 miles away at Camerton St Peter there is a baptism for a Hester NASH 30 Jan 1803 mother Hannah, shows Hester as baseborn. Maybe a possible?
