Hi
Can anyone tell me if there are records available for baptisms in Whitelackington.
I am looking for the baptism of Robert Marshallsay c1792.  I am also looking for
his marriage to Hannah Barber c1816.  Hannah was baptised at the Old Presbytarian
Ilminster.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

This looks like Robert's baptism from FreeReg -

St Mary's Whitelackington, 25 March 1792.
Father - Robert
Mother - Mary Marshallsay

There is a marriage of a Robert Marshallsay to Mary Needs, St Mary, Whitelackington 24 March 1789.

Witnesses - William Baker and Thomas Bridle.

Notes - Groom signed, Wm Gyllett (vicar)

On FreeReg there are quite a few entries for the name Marshallsay in Whitelackington, which may be worth checking out.

Regards

JJ

Hi,

Once you have the search results click on the numbers in the 1st column which will bring up the details of that entry.

Hope that helps.

Hi

Something's wrong if your cursor stays on hourglass, but I don't know what. Try this link which should take you straight to Robert's baptism in 1792.

http://www.freereg.org.uk/cgi/SearchResults.pl?RecordType=Baptisms&RecordID=2183496

See if that works first.
