St.John The Evangelist, Walworth Bp look up-JENNER-COMPLETED

Hi, l wonder if sks has access to the above records and if so would they very kindly look for a baptism of Rosina JENNER c1867 the daughter of Albert & Caroline.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

There are two children baptised at St John Walworth for Albert and Caroline. Albert Richard 12th September 1869 and Emma Elizabeth 18th October 1871. There does not appear to be a baptism for a Rose/Rosina/Rosetta anywhere in the area. Were her parents married in 1867?

Hi Valda, Thanks so much for looking, yes Rosina's parents married in 1866 at Bethnal Green, st Phillips, l had presumed(Wrongly!) that Rosina would have been baptised at the same church as her siblings?

There doesn't seem to be a baptism for her showing on line in the London area.

The 1st February 1866 marriage at St Phillip Bethnal Green has Albert aged 27 a bachelor, occupation painter with father John Jenner a druggist. On 13th April 1863 an Albert Jenner of full age, a bachelor and a druggist with father John Jenner druggist married Louisa Brown a spinster and upholsterer. Like Caroline she signed by making her mark. Albert's signature on both marriages is very similar.

The Rosina Jenner who married at St John's Walworth 10th February 1907 a spinster and laundress, father Albert Jenner painter, gave her age as 44.

Albert and Caroline appear on the 1871 census in Southwark with daughter Rose aged 3 and son Albert aged 1.

Is it the same Rose/Rosina?

Wow, l have been researching this family for many years and was not aware that Albert had married before? according to his marriage to Caroline Leedham in 1866 it states that he is a bachelor?

With regards to Rosina, yes its the same one( marries James Muirhead) but if her age is correct then it looks as if she is the daughter of Albert & Louisa?

Both younger sisters were with their elder married sister at Goldsmith's Place St George the Martyr Southwark in 1861 (RG9 330 folio 137) which was where Albert was in 1861 RG9 329 folio 166
