Hi, I'm trying to gather information on My Great Uncle. I only found out his full name recently and that he was born in 1895. The info. below I managed to find on the CWGC site, now I've come to a standstill and don't know how to proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

You can download his Medal Card from DocumentsOnline and from Ancestry - though it doesn't tell you much more. He was awarded the Victory and British Medals (posthumously).

If you are lucky his records will be in DocumentsOnline at the National Archives. There is a elpful guide at http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/britisharmysoldierafter1913.htm

If you can trace the exact unit he was in, you can read its War Diary at the National Archives. You might also get some background, though no personal details, from the Regimental Museum (personnel records were held centrally).

My error - his service record is available and is on Ancestry not Documents Online.
