Hi
trying to help a friend, can anyone shed any light on a Rev John Milligan/Milliken who was Minister in Wigtownshire around 1720-1765. Born circa 1695. Wife - un-named - died 1764.
Friend thought Rev John was Minister at Mochrum Parish, but does not show on the list of ministers for that parish
Any help appreciated.

If he was a Church of Scotland Minister then you may be able to find details of his career through FASTI. See attached links:
