radford burial

Hi I will be visiting nottingham in the summer to try and find the burial of joseph buckland  he was born in radford  abt 1815, In 1881 he was living at ashford street (civil parish st Mary's) with his wife  hannah.
he died in 1887 presuming he was still living at the same address does anybody know the most likely place of burial.

Hi Sue,

What I can tell you is he is NOT in the Nottingham General cemetery!  so at least that is one off the list.

Could be in Basford Cemetery or The Rock (Church) Cemetery, or General Cemetery.

Copperbeech5 hope you dont mind me asking but how do you know that he is not in General Cemetery as you would need to go though the burial records at the archives.

Sue I can check the records for you if you like as I'm at the archives every week.

You are quite right to query my point.... it was late last night, and what I should have said is he does not show in the MI's for the General Cemetery.

So yes, sorry for any confusion!
