Disabled Child
« on: Wednesday 07 March 12 11:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have found that an aunt of mine died aged 7 in 1935. She was suffering from a disability and it looks like  she was not living at home. There is no death or birth record at the GRO and I am trying to find some details. Was there a home on Clonmel or nearby where disabled children were sent ?

regards

Paul

She may have been in St Luke's Hospital, This was the mental hospital depending on the disability. but her death should still be registered in Clonmel, so maybe she was in a home futher away?
