The Forest, Epsom

Does anyone know the following hospital/house/whatever:
The Forest, Hook Road, Epsom.
 My gt aunt died there in Dec 1927 age 29 and was buried in St Patricks Cemetery, Leytonstone along with her month old child who was brought from Mildmay Mission Hospital. They were both buried on the same day.

I don't know the answer but there is a good Family and Local History Centre at Bourne Hall, Ewell in the library there and they run an excellent website on the area.  I've pasted the link below.

They might be able to assist if you contact them via the website.  They might know the name already or be able to look up directories for Hook Road for the 1920's.

It is not the website of the Epsom and Ewell Local and Family History Centre at Bourne Hall.

I wouldn't think The Forest was a hospital. There were two large asylums on Hook Road, St Ebba's and Manor Hospital.

This may have been Epsom Isolation Hospital which was in Hook Road in 1920s.
