Elizabeth Templeton, nee Johnstone

I seem to be having trouble finding the death certificate of Elizabeth Templeton.  She was the first wife of my great great great Grandfather John Templeton.  I found them both on the 1861 census, it looked like she was aged 51 but it could be 57 (born in England) and her husband John was 51; they had a seven year old daughter living with them named Mary Anne, the youngest of their children I believe.  In 1861 they were living in Tillicoultry.  I could not find her in the 1871 but I found John, married to another woman.  If anyone could help, I would appreciate it.

John and Elizabeth's ages are given as 32

Have you found a second marriage for John Templeton(Ann McArthur?) ?
John Templeton and Ann McArthur marriage 24th Jan. 1868 Dunblane Perthshire(IGI)

SP has a death Ann Templeton(other surname McArthur) 1879 Tillicoultry Clackmannan , born c1817

Like you I can't find a death for Elizabeth

If it is the correct one , can you tell us why the age and other surname are not coming up ?

It is the correct certificate.  I honestly can't understand why it wouldn't work when the age and other surname were added in.  I got a list of about ten Elizabeth Templetons initially, but none of them were her!  Sometimes, on SP, I find, as you did in my case, that 'less is more' for some strange reason.  Perhaps I will contact SP and tell them what has happened to they can look into this issue as it has happened to me before.
Do you find that you have the same issues at times?

Spent about 10 minutes looking for a death 1861 - 1871 didn't find anything likely
Replied to your post then decided to have one more look and found that one first time
