I am trying to find when my great grandfather came to either Australia or NZ.
He was born in approx 1855 in England I have been told but can't find anything on him.  He married in Dunedin, NZ in April 1876 an Annie Paris.  I was told they came out on the same ship but at the time didn't know each other.  I know Ann Paris came out on the Dover Castle in 1873 to Port Chalmers, Otago, but have had no
luck in tracing Robert.  In their first years of marriage they seemed to travel between Aussie and NZ so that is why I am not sure where he actually arrived first in Aussie or NZ.   Hope someone can help me.  This man seems to be a mystery prior to when he married, I can't find anything on him.
