Am trying to find the maiden name of Anthony Bowman's wife Mary.
Anthony was born 1793 at Nether Denton, he died at Wheyrigg Hall in 1867.
Mary was born at Westward in 1794 and she died at Wheyrigg Hall in 1868.
Some of their children were born at Burgh By Sands.
Any help would be welcomed.

there is a Anthony Bowman marrying a Mary Johnson on 28 September 1817 at Westward that could be them

In the 1841 census their eldest child is William who was born 1820 so that could be it. May i ask where you found this marriage please?
