Looking at the passenger lists for 1914 which is the year Esther states she immigrated, there is a passenger list for Esther Jarvmen born 1899 Ricoven. Finland who arrived in New York on the Hellig Olav.
Also travelling was another female who is transcribed as Impi Jarvmen. Both had a mother Aili Jarvmen, "Rubba", Ruovesc or R*iovisc
Can't read who and to which address they were going - but something like Lauara Jubkansen - 021 - 56 th Street **** New York.
Also found a marriage record for Impi (surname is Jarvinen) to John Gussisburg - October 1918 in Manhattan.
http://www.rootschat.com/links/0ley/ Esther Jarvinen aged 22 years Born Tammerfors. Finland travelled Hamilton to Bermusa, arriving 24 th March 1921 on the Fort Victoria. Going to 53 W 130 Street. New York. (so pretty close to the address for Charles and Esther Hall)
If this is correct, it also gives a time frame for the marriage between 24 th March 1921 and 15th August 1921)
It was also quite common for hired servants to go to Bermuda, the second homes or holiday destinations of there employers.
Esther Hall born Rouosi
