Today is My Day!
« on: Monday 16 May 05 18:43 BST (UK) »
Last night I 'googled' the name Dabill and today I have a whole host of living relatives and a multitude of dead ones, half of whom I knew nothing about!  It's a strange but wonderful feeling!

I want to say a big thankyou to HeatherB and Steve Ley - without their efforts on my behalf I wouldn't have found what I did before the mountain of paperwork I have just received descended on me!   Now I have a mass of cross-referencing to do which will probably keep me quiet for a few days!  Great stuff!

Congrats Jill  - isn't it great when this kind of thing happens in genealogy  ??

Outsiders can never understand the thrill and buzz we 'rellie seekers' get at times like this.

Thanks Mobo - you're quite right!  When I told my husband last night his reply was 'Huh' - and not a word has been said since!

Jill - it was just a fluke. I googled "Dabill" , as you did, and none of the information I got was of any use to me :'(
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.
