Hi

For notes (could any be relevant?)............

1) this family group has now appeared (19/3/2012) on FamilyHistory.org
George.Lawrence(b1787)/Charlotte.Goddard(b1791) = Daughter Sarah(b1813, Puckeridge)

2) 1841 "Library" (!?) Lybury inhabited by MrCook
So both Geo&Charlotte died relatively young?

3) Milton Lilbourne = Wiltshire (?)
Wiltshire .... Charlotte and Elizabeth born and baptised 2 years apart 1795/97 to Thomas&Elizabeth Goddard

Apologies, Charlotte Goddard dob should be 1790, I went by a date given to me by another descendant, instead of checking my own records, !!!
Thomas Goddard and Elizabeth nee Mead are also buried in the abovementioned cemetary (I think). Just hoping someone can let me know the inscriptions as I am in Australia.

Hi Whisky,
I visited Grest Munden Churchyard and found a group of four headstones for the LAWRENCE family.  They are heavily covered in ivy but I managed to decipher the larger lettering to establish the surname and two forenames, Aaron and James.   The weather over the years, and the ivy, have damaged the surface of the headstones making the smaller lettering unreadable.

I would mention that the Church no longer functions as a church.  It is privately owned and used for the presentation of operas, plays, concerts and exhibitions.

Regards   .....   Peter
