COMPLETED Parish Churches close to Dunmow

Hi all,
I am trying to search for family in the Dunmow area. I can find the children but not a marriage. What would be the parishes close to Dunmow in about 1780.

Hi Sue,
I am trying to unravel the Wilks family - I have a sub to Essexancestors and found the births between 1780 and 1795 but couldn't see a marriage. William Wilks and Judith are the parents. I cant see Williams baptism yet - would think it is between 1750 and 1760. Judith was alive in a census and her grave puts her birth at 1760. I did find a birth for a Judith Vealing in Lindsell, only Judith I have found so far. Many Wilks are in Lindsell though! There is a lot of info on various family tree sites that needs verification!!
Any help appreciated.

PS family names are Samuel, James, Joseph, John and William.

Thanks - I thought I had looked at Boyds..... blame it on old age!!!! When I was looking on that site for info on the weekend, it came up with no info. I will use Boyds and the original parish records together. Other names close by that I could look at?

Thank you Graham - I had remembered this calculator from years back but could not find it again. UK family history has been on the back burner for a number of years.
Sue - found the parish marriage with no date and month a bit weird? Dec perhaps?

That is December, abbreviated Decr.

Not all registers were filled in on the day of the ceremony (and that's why they aren't totally reliable) - this one may well have been written up some time later and I can imagine the priest thinking "it was back in December....now was it a Tuesday? Can't remember - I'll check and fill it in when I've asked them." Or, quite likely, a simple oversight.

Thanks for that - the next entry is the 16 Oct 1781! Looking to see if i can find Judith Tinkley b in 1860 now....
