Anne Traylor marries Thomas Knowles - Bromyard

Hi there - I'm trying to find out some more information on Anne Traylor marrying Thomas Knowles on 14 November 1725 in Bromyard.  Batch number M138671.

Trying to find out who her parents were. 

Hoping also to try and link it with her possibly being the sister of William Traylor born in 1744 who married Elizabeth Davies born 1748. 

Its William's parents I would love to know and hoping this might be another link.

Marriages for that period do not show fathers names - mothers names are never shown on English marriage certs

I think that is highly unlikely.  If Anne married in 1725 - she was born at the very latest in 1709 and more likely earlier than that.    William was born at least 35yrs later??

This is very true!  Hadn't really worked out the years and ages!

Would still like to try and link them though as it would be another generation.  We're stuck on William Traylor at the moment and can't get any further back.

]Hi Do you know where Anne was born ? my mother in laws mother was a Traylor and there are quite a few Anne's I will have a look back through my research for you

Hi there - thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately I don't know her birth date but would imagine its around 1705 as she married in 1725.

Hi I can go as far back as Wiiiam Traylor aswell I will do a bit more delving and see whqat I can come up with.
