marriage of Thomas Reid to Amy ,,?

Hi
   I have on the 1901 UK census Thomas Reid age 43 b. Scotland
It shows his wife as Amy age 36.
I cannot find a marriage for them in UK so perhaps they married in Scotland.
Need help to find this marriage please and to find Amy's maiden name.

I'm guessing this is Amy's marriage...to Thomas.....I'm wondering if her mother remarried..to a Strickland ....

Found this.

Marriages 2nd Qrt 1895   
 Amy Elizabeth Dootson and also Thomas Reid  Chorlton  8c 1211         
 
Amy's Father';s death Maybe!

Deaths 4th Qrt 1883 
James Dootson 43  Chorlton  8c 480

Scotland is part of the UK.

However if you are using what Ancestry misleadingly describes as a UK marriage index, be aware that this index covers only England and Wales. It is mirrored from http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

1891 census gives Thomas' birthplace as Inverness

He is lodging in Luton with Elizabeth Rudd and her daur Ada
