I am researching the Maxwells of Dynwodie.
Agnes Maxwell c early 1600's was heir to her father in 1639
Nicholas and Sarah were her sisters. Agnes Johnston was their mother.

Is anyone else researching this family.

Nicolas Maxwell married John Carruthers of Broomfields around 1657.

Does anyone know who the other sisters married?

Also can anyone tell me why the Maxwells are also called Dinwodie? Or have I got that wrong?
