Where is Caroline Emma MUTTON born 1861

I am puzzled that you know that Caroline Emma MUTTON was born 1861 Bathurst, NSW.  South Australian birth certificates are scant on detail and you see below no ages or places of birth are detailed.

I sent for his death certificate and it lists Caroline Emma and William on his death certificate.

But has father Frederick on the online death index.

Do you have Horace's Birth Cert that Merlin mentions (NSW 1882)  ?

If so, what information is on that please (especially who registered the birth, and all the details about the parents on that bc please)

However she is listed as marrying Horace Wilshire in 1882 in Sydney...

No record of children between them at all.

There is a birth registered:

Do not have any info on Horace Wilshire at all.  It is only recently I found Caroline and thought  it would be simple to trace her family. Only info on Horace is what you all have found.. Married Caroline Emma Mutton 1882 and seems they may have had a child in that same year another Horace..
I guess I didnt want to go off on a tangent looking for history of Horace as I was trying to track ONLY the connection between William and Caroline. I figured that I shouldnt look there UNTIL I had exhausted my search for William Carver in South Australia... Unfortunately it seems there are quite a few in SA at that time ( another deadend)
So I decided to just track Caroline Emma but this is fraught with inconsistencies.  I have somehow come to the conclusion that maybe she never married William though they had 4 children together ?

You mention Caroline’s parents were John Mutton and Margaret Storey.

Do you think there would be a connection to the John MUTTON, of Piper St, Bathurst?

I think these would indicate that chap was a butcher, and that occupation could help when considering any bdm certificates to confirm/eliminate various pieces of info about Caroline’s parents.
