Please do not overlook that the roll does not prove that they lived there at that time.   I have posted on your other current thread on Aust Board offering some thoughts.  Sorry but ATM I am typing from e reader keyboard so cant do live link to that thread.

I have just seen your posting on 06 April 12 mentioning EDWARD PONSONBY BURROWES.     Are you or have you been researching BURROWES families once living in Australia and Ireland?    I am researching the Burrowes' family descended from and related to Peter Burrowes K.C. (1753-1841) - eminent barrister, Judge and briefly Irish MP.    I am in touch with "eilidh".
