Have discovered 3 other children of William and Kate Reynolds who emigrated to Nevada City, They were
Thomas Richard born 1878 Llandilo, Evelyn born 1882 Llandilo and Clara born 1890

Hi Wendy,

Noticed the New York passenger list yesterday with all the family on - Britannic Liverpool to New York arriving 12 th August 1892.

This appears to be Thomas R Reynolds on a WW1 Draft. Born 26 November 1877 Wales. Resides 669 Chestnut Runs. Nevada. Citizen by father's naturalization before registrants majority. Manager Gray Reed Knight Co  ??? Wife Beluah Reynolds.
Thomas was medium height, slender build with blue eyes and brown hair. No distinguishing marks.

Dated September 11 th 1918.

On the WW2 Draft (1942) - Thomas R Reynolds. Born 26 November 1877 Wales. England.
Resides - 2440 Burnett Way. Sacramento, California. The name of the person who will always know him is :- Mrs Hazel Phillips. 3916 + 5-17 Avenue. Sacremento. California.
Employers Name:- Hale Bros. Sacremento. California

This didn't mean that Thomas served in WW2. WWII draft cards from the Fourth Registration, often called the "old man's draft," because it registered men who were 45 to 64 years old at the time. Unlike other drafts for World War II, this one targeted older men not for military service but for help on the home front.
Believe Hazel was the daughter of Thomas - see next post.

The maiden name of Beluah is given in the birth record of Hazel.
