Hi and greetings from England

Here is what I have on this family and need further help.

Clara A Edwin b. England 1871/2  left England for New York in 1892.  I know she married a George MADDOCKS as I have found them on 1900, 1920 and 1930 USA federal census records. The records indicate they married 1893 but have been unable to trace a marriage in USA or UK.

They lived in Wallingford, Newhaven, Connecticut and the 1930 census is the last record  have of the family.

Clara and George Maddocks had at least 2 children:

Harold J Maddocks born circa 1894

Fred/Frederick Maddocks born circa 1895

On 1920 census Harold is living with his parents together with his wife Gladys and baby daughter Virginia born c1920

I would like some help in trying to find the marriage and death records for Clara and George Maddocks and it would be just great to make contact with any living descendants of these people.

Any help/information would be much appreciated.

The 1953 Wallingford, CT city directory has Clara, widow of George F., Harold D. and wife Helen Maddocks all living at 143 N. Colony.  It also notes that Frederick J. Maddocks died 30 May 1951 at age 55.

It looks like Harold served in WWI:  http://www.hmdb.org/marker.asp?marker=27663

The military grave locator - http://gravelocator.cem.va.gov/j2ee/servlet/NGL_v1 - has a Harold J. Maddocks, Jr. buried at Wallingford, Connecticut.  Perhaps he was your Harold's son? 

Edited:  Disgregard that Harold Jr. - looks like his mother's name was Agnes.

Daughter of Harold (may still be living) - married William George Hanlon who died 4 Sep 1959 in Lake Forest, Illinois.

There is a tree that says George died 9 Nov. 1936 in Wallingford & Harold died 16 Jul. 1974 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, but no sources given.
