Charles Cave death certificate
« on: Saturday 07 April 12 07:08 BST (UK) »
Would I be able to have some help deciphering where Charles Cave was born please?
It was in Somerset and I have him registered in Pitney, however this certificate says some other place.
Thanks in advance,
Chris :)
Sorry I cannot attach the cert as it is more than 500kb.

Hi Chrissie
Try attaching only a part of the certificate.  I think you shouldn't show the whole thing anyhow - copyright and all that jazz.

Is this a birth or death certificate?  Issued where?

Dawn M
Denys (France); Rossier/Rousseau (Switzerland); Montgomery (Antrim, IRL & North Sydney NSW);  Finn (Co.Carlow, IRL & NSW); Wilson (Leicestershire & NSW); Blue (Sydney NSW); Fisher & Barrago & Harrington(all Tipperary, IRL)

Hi Chris,

It looks like Dysentery to me, which is more cause of death than birthplace  ???

Shoot me down in flames if you like, but I think it's GLASTONBURY.

I think the loop that looks like the Y in 'dysentery' actually belongs to the line below. Is this possible?

Glastonbury would be the biggest major centre to Pitney.
Wedd, Cotter, Nash, Hays, Stockbridge (Cambs/Herts), Pine (Kent), Chaplin (Cambs/Herts)
Frost (Cornwall), Carr.

Sorry to shoot you down but I don't see a 'line below', just a single word entry  :-\
