Yes, she is!!!   their son Wm.Ellis Williams and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Williams were my gt.grandparents; their daughter (Lizzie) Elizabeth Williams b1870 was my nain.

Hello!

I know this is an old thread but couldn't resist in jumping on!

Another descendant of Robert and Ann Parry here! They are my 5x grandparents through their son Robert who moved to work in the slate industry in Pembrokeshire and married a Martha Evans! And the majority of the family remained in Pembrokeshire until me! I met a boy from Penygroes and moved to Llanllyfni, without any knowledge of my family connections!!

I have checked this so many times as I couldn't believe it, we even lived on Rhedyw Road!! It's crazy!

 We no longer live in Llanllyfni but my in-laws still live in Penygroes, so I was wondering in which graveyard are they buried? I would like to try and find it if I can.

Robert Parry son of Robert Parry and Anne Roberts, born  27 July 1821 LLanllyfni, baptised 5th August 1821, Salem Calvanistic Methodist, Llanllyfni.

I do remember finding and detailing a Robert Parry, who married a Martha Evans, but seem to remember on their marriage certificate that his pa wasn't Robert.  This was pointed out to me by a relative of mine.
Can you give me some details for your Robert Parry please.

I have found the relevant email from my second cousin re Rhobart Parry 1818 marrying Martha Evans; the marriage certificate dated  29 January 1839, parish church of Maenclochog, Pembrokeshire.
Robert Parry of full age - slater - father WILLIAM PARRY - labourer.

Thank you for this, I did try to reply yesterday, but it seems like it never sent, I'm so sorry.

After your message I went back though my workings and you are correct, his father is indeed William and not Robert!! I got so excited when I found the baptism record you mentioned I completely forgot his father was not actually a Robert!

I am struggling to find his parents to be honest, hopefully I will have more time this weekend to have another look.

Thanks so much for this information, it certainly stopped me following the incorrect line
