Technically Sandeman Street was in Whiteinch - it was built on the site of the Whiteinch allotments (Whiteinch folk never considered themselves as part of Partick - a lesson I learned a long time ago)

Ha!Ha! Have to agree about Sandeman St being in Whiteinch, but my mother, who was born in 39 Milton St in May  1925, insisted she was born and raised in Partick.  :D

A Glasgow woman goes to the dentist and settles down in the chair.

"Comfy?" asks the dentist.

"Partick," she replies.

I think it was all Renfrewshire once upon a time, very foreign to a Springburn lad!
Still is! :)

I was born in Sandeman Street and lived there from 1958-1960.
I assume it was demolished when they built the Clyde Tunnel but I may be wrong.
