I must admit this is fun,

Here's a candidate for Sophie Antonie's baptism:

(#10, top right)

Father is Syvert Tollefsen, mother more challenging!

Hi again,
I'm thrilled you are having fun :D
I really can't see much of the page you displayed this time - I can only make out the word Sophie (I think) so I'll take you word for this one.
Does this mean that her father 9my gt,gt,gt grandfather's name was Tollef?

I finally worked out how to enlarge the writing ::)
I think the mother's name could be Liselle or Libelle Halvors.
What do you think?
I can't make out what it says under that or what the other column says (might help if I knew what the heading said ???)
Once again, you amaze me ;D

Antonie's Confirmation record 1848 (#5)

 http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=5915&idx_id=5915&uid=ny&idx_side=-224

Mother's name still challenging, but my best attempt is Sibille Halvorsdatter.

First letter must be an "S"....

Sivert Tollefsen is registered as "Gmd" (=farmer) opposed to "Hmd" (=cottager)

This difference is partly the reason why a lot of people emigrated.

More fun:

Tailor Olaus Christiansen died from "Tering" Sept 9, 1884. He was born Apr 23, 1836 at Solberg in Botne.
(That's where the Solberg name must come from...)

(#6)

Gift=married
Tering=tuberculosis

From a genealogy point of wiev, you may consider this week
As your "lucky week", because I've just found out that
There are much more details on this family in disnorge's private
Database..!

Hi,
Having all the information on my family that you have helped me find,when I searched for over decades with no success already qualifies this as my "lucky week".
I am now even more intrigued - can you tell me what this "Disnorges Private Database" is?
