I've just contacted a couple of people on Genes Reunited who may have some of this family in their tree.

Now, if you come across any similar ones with Etheringtons in them...

what beautiful pictures, it's a shame things like this get lost from their immediate descendants.

I recognise the dog  I had a dog which looked the spitting image of the one  in the photos, beautiful dog.
I hope you find the family they belong to, or the rightful owners/ family spots them .

It's always worth searching on ebay once a week with your family surnames in the searchbox ( and tick the search descriptions  box too) just in case there is something being sold there, I've had no luck so far, but maybe one day eh

My search was actually on my home town ie 'Folkestone' - and as you say Cell, it's surprising what comes up sometimes 

There was another seller with a photo of a young lad after his first few weeks at military school too, perhaps I should have noted that as well but there were no identifiable surnames.

It would be a great shame for these to end up at the dump.  I get told off as it is about all my clutter, otherwise.....
