Please could some one look up the baptisms at Hemel Hempstead for a Thomas Freeman. He was born on the 19th October 1797.

Matthew and Elizabeth FREEMAN  born 06July1797.

Hi Peter,

Thank you very very much indeed. I'm SO grateful. Sorry to be a pain with an extra question. Can you possibly remember if that was the only Thomas Freeman? Someone in the extended family found an ancient piece of paper saying that Thomas was born on the 19th October 1797 (I'm perfectly prepared to accept that that could be wrong of course). I'm just thinking now, do you think it might be possible that that Thomas, mentioned in the piece of paper, was baptised in the beginning 1798?

I searched the Hemel Hempstead records up to 1806 but regret no trace of another Thomas FREEMAN.    There were, however, no less than eight entries for the Freeman surname and these are given below for your info.
