Evans McGinnis 86th Rgmt Tralee Barracks 1830
« on: Saturday 14 April 12 21:06 BST (UK) »
Looking for any information on Evans McGinnis, his wife Esther and daughter Mary, born 1830.   Mary is my G-G-Grandmother.  Wondering what might have caused her to want to migrate to America.  She arrived NYC Aug 5, 1851, and married one Henry Lamb.

As Evans McGinnis was a soldier - it may be useful to check the Army records at Kew to see if you can get anymore information.
I don't know if you have information re 86th Regiment
