Trawler captains from Grimsby
« on: Sunday 15 April 12 11:20 BST (UK) »
Hi, Everyone,
Can anyone tell me whether there is any kind of database that I might be able to search dealing with trawler captains who sailed out of Grimsby, from the late 1930's onwards.  Or any good, comprehensive books or links that deal with the history of the trawler fishing fleet from Grimsby?
Very best wishes, keith

My father was looking into this a few years ago.He went to NE Lincs archives in Grimsby, although he wanted some time before that. It might be worth a phone call to them.
