north wales boundaries
« on: Monday 16 April 12 21:13 BST (UK) »
My family I am told came from north wales in particular the snowdonia area.   I am unfamiliar with this area and wondered if someone could help me indicating the boundaries of north wales.  This would give me a better idea of the counties I need to be looking at a little closer at for my research.

Thank you
Names: Thomas, Phillips
Areas: Senghenydd, Abertridwr, Trethomas, Caerau, Glamorganshire
Llandilofawr, Carmarthenshire

You should be looking perhaps in particular at the old counties of Merionethshire and Caernarvonshire.
