My GrGrGrGrGrandfather John Whitby married Delia Turner in 1820 in Middlesex. Delia died in 1821 aged 20 years. John Whitby then married Ann Halfpenny in 1823 and later that year their first daughter was born and they called her Delia Ann.
Delia Ann Whitby married Thomas Hughes on the 4th June 1843 in Bermondsey. They had one daughter Rebecca born in 1854.
Rebecca married Samuel Forest in 1871 and died in 1877 at St Olave, Southwark.
After her daughter Rebecca's death in 1877 Delia or Ann as she was sometimes called lived with her son-in-law Samuel Forrest until she died in 1907 aged 83 years.
