What about this for anyone that hasn't tried it..... useful in many ways as there are so many options e.g. the maps in satellite and ordnance survey but also has parish information, registers etc; which jurisdiction a parish came under; options has radius place search, Lists contiguous parishes.....

Thank you all for all those websites. I was aware of the Old Maps, but the others I was not aware of at all.

I will have a closer look at Old Maps for the reason you stated Jen, as I have found some places difficult to find on Google maps.

The ordanace survey one looks as though it will be very interesting, and will be closely investigated.

The familysearch one will also be checked out.

With the weather in Sydney being as wet as it is at the moment, I will be able to get away with doing more than the usual ammount of work on this than usual.

Again many thanks to all of you.
