Pleased we could all help.
Just a thought - Did notice a John Moore born 1874 Antrim. Ireland - Wife Lizzie also in Clackamas - wouldn't happen to be a brother of Thomas would it ? Children were Thomas, Ina, John, Norman, Willard, Hector James, Angus and Arabell ? They immigrated through Canada and then border crossing St Albans - August 1905. Going to Oregon City. Oregon.  ???

Quite possibly you may only be interested in the Lamont angle though  ;D

Which is the one we covered in this thread:- (not a bad memory eh  ;D) http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,589461.msg4403886.html#msg4403886

Jemima's sister Sarah Lamont born Portglenone according to earlier topic-
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,589461

The County Antrim part of Portglenone is in Ballymena Poor Law Union, so the registration district would likely have been Ballymena. Portglenone (I've been there twice this week and will be through it again on Monday)-Ballymena is only about 8 or 9 miles.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

re: sarah..., there was something like that on the Canada board as well, it sounds familiar...That thread says parents were James Lamont and Sarah Scott though...I don't know because I haven't seen a reply to that from the poster...so I guess I'll turn off notification & get back on to the Canada board now  ;D J.J.

Yikes, do need those specs JJ   ::)- Sarah 1873 had a different birth date to the one covered earlier. - that one was 13 March 1880.  Also covered her brother William on same thread - so hopefully they are cousins then  ;D

thanks sandra. The sarah jj mentions would actually have been a neice of Jemimas even though they were born at the same time.

If correct family 1930 has them with four more children but not absolutely sure this is yours as you'll need to locate the 1920...should be New Jersey according to oldest son still at home! https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XC9H-P6P
Joseph, Jemima H, Paul F. and Leslie D.

Ah, I was wrong they are already in Clackamas, Oregon 1920 and I give you that clue as the mother & daughter not properly named...and with them is a son John born 1901...
Happy hunting through the censuses https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1&region=UNITED_STATES&recordType=Census
Actually not a stretch. Portglenone is considered part of Ballymena and I think this is her sister. I am working on Martha Mc Cammon and these are her aunts
Do see death of Leslie D. at a young age  https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/N3Y9-9JL

and just because I found it just now, perhaps a sister for Jemima, altho mother is "Martha Ann Luke" https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/F56T-JJF although may be a stretch as Jemima was born Ballymena

These people are my ancestors.  I met John Moore of Ballymena in 1987 in Scottland.
