RC parish registers for south-west Cork are available free at www.irishgenealogy.ie. I don't understand why some posters don't link back to websites where information is available.

I've seen Skibbgirl who posts on here mention that Dunmanway has earlier records than are currently available online. Can I suggest as well that you ask a Moderator to move this to the Cork board as more people will probably see this there.

Thank you very much for sharing information. I have only recently started my search and already find it a bit overwhelming!! I will look into having this moved-although I thought I had started there :/
