Welter weight boxer - lancaster regiment?
« on: Thursday 26 April 12 10:18 BST (UK) »
My first cousin once removed who boxed under the name Patrick O'Toole (his name was Patrick Thomas Hanley) won a few cups apparently. Unfortunately I don't know his exact regiment but he grew up in Liverpool so he was probably in one of the Liverpool or Lancaster regiments. He was born in 1911 and so he could have been boxing as early as the 1930s.
He was a welter weight.
Does any one know how I can find out more about him.
Are there any websites on line concerning this subject?
Thanking you in advance
