John McArthur B 1774 immigrated to Canada 1803-5?

OK, here's the deal: I'm trying to locate an ancestor, John McArthur that left Perthshire, Scotland for Canada in 1803-5 on a ship called the Roseann with his brothers William and Arthur (yeah, Arthur McArthur poor man).

A John was born in 1774, to Duncan McArthur (and Ann McNab) in Kenmore, Perthshire (so good so far) BUT I can't find the same couple having his brothers William and Arthur. This couple did have a son called Peter, who I've never heard of before. A Duncan McArthur (or more than one Duncan, it's hard to tell) did have sons named Arthur and William but with two different women in 1775 and 1776 but divorce didn't happen back then and there's no death date for any Ann McNab that fits neatly into this timeline. Did he just up and leave his wife, whom he married in 1763 for two other women in two years? The records are very well kept, but it's possible that something on Ann is missing...

Do you think I've found the right John McArthur?

I assume you are the Aescleah on Talkingscot who had some info from local specialists some time ago?
If you use Scotlands people you will find there are two families who have a Arthur and John in the timeframe you are interested in.There is no William born to a Duncan.
One family is in Comrie the other starts in Killin then moves to Kenmore. In between there is an unnamed birth in Fortingall which could be William.Look at the geography and dates and it makes sense.
Deaths in North Perthshire were rarely recorded in this timeframe so don't rush to the conclusion of multiple partnerships although sometimes it helps but not probably in this case.
