Hi David,

There is this baptism - may be the one you're looking for

If that's the right one...

Other children of Henry & Molly:
Nottingham St Mary
18 Apr 1788, Thomas
02 Aug 1790, Ann
23 Jan 1803, Henry William

Nottingham St Mary marriage
25 Nov 1787, Henry BUCKNALL & Molly WRIGHT

There's a big gap between the births of Ann and Henry William  :-\

Nery Bucknall? No I can't see anyone of that name. There are a couple of Mary's and a Henry born in Nottingham about then. Where did you find the name Nery? It's very unusual.

Ok, I did think Nery was a bit strange  ;D

Children of Thomas & Elisabeth BUCKNALL:
Nottingham St Mary
13 Jan 1755, William
25 Feb 1761, Mary (buried 24 Jan 1768)
03 May 1763, Henry Brown (buried 17 Jun 1767)
16 Jun 1765, Mary
29 Sep 1767, Sophia (buried 08 Dec 1772)
08 Jan 1770, Henry
28 Apr 1772, George
27 May 1775, Sarah (buried 17 Apr 1777)

Nottingham St Mary marriage
16 Mar 1754, Thomas BUCKNALL & Elisabeth BURNET

Henry would only be 17-18 years old at marriage, but I think it may be him as there are no other Bucknalls in Nottingham at the time.

This could be Molly's baptism:
Nottingham St Mary
23 Jun 1766, Molly dau of Charles & Elisabeth WRIGHT

Molly had lots of siblings - can post them if you like.

The registers for St Mary's go back to the 1560s, but I don't think your Bucknalls were there that early. I can't see anything further back for Thomas's father (also Thomas):

All at Nottingham St Mary:

Parent's marriage:
27 Oct 1724, Thomas BUCKNAL & Mary BROWN

children of Thomas & Mary BUCKNALL:
09 Mar 1728, Anne
10 Mar 1735, Thomas
30 Oct 1737, Mary
22 Feb 1741, Henry Brown

some burials that may be of interest:
22 Nov 1741, Thomas BUCKNALL   (I presume this is Thomas husband of Mary)
28 Mar 1742, Henry BUCKNALL, son of Widow BUCKNALL    (presumably Henry Brown Bucknall b.1741)
14 Feb 1787, Thomas BUCKNALL
09 Dec 1788, Elizabeth BUCKNALL
23 Sep 1807, Thomas BUCKNALL

Can't see any burials for Henry & Molly (William's parents). Perhaps they went to Bristol as well?
