Hi .. can you please tell me where you got the St Marys registers from .. is that off a disc? I am just about to buy some from the Nottingham FHS - any pointers?

As you say, they came from the NFHS CDs. St Mary's registers are well indexed. I think this is probably where you were looking...

There is a link to a PDF document in the first paragraph that shows the CD coverage for St Mary's and other parishes.

They are well worth the cost, especially for those of us who live thousands of miles away.

That was quick!! This is such a brilliant site  I'm online at the moment looking at S&N genealogy  they have a disc called National Burial Index 3rd edition - would that be good to purchase or are the local discs more detailed - I have people all over the place but am focusing on Nottingham at the moment as that has been the mos difficult!
Such an inconvenience to be so many miles away!!

I have National Burial Index 2nd Edition but don't find it very good, local disc's are better.
