Thomas Turnbull who married Janet Knox died in 1890 He was a Miller at Hawick Corn Mill . He was my direct ancestor and did not die just after marrying Janet . To the best of my information he was born in Wilton in Hawick . So perhaps not the Thomas Turnbull you looking for . His mother  was Eupemia Hope
