Samuel Jamieson
We have traced Samuel Jamieson (other spellings Jemison, Jameison) with his marriage in Maghera to Maria Scott in 1849 and the Marriage record states his father was James.  They then moved to Scotland and we have the census records whilst he was there before the travelled to New Zealand.
We have hit the brick wall with his birth and other family members.  His death certificate here in New Zealand states he was born in County Down about 1824 and his Mother was Agnes.
Would anyone have any info to help.
Thanks

What religion were they? Exactly where did the marriage take place?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

His death certificate states he was Presbyterian.  They were married in Maghera, Londonderry, Ireland.
