Yes, thats correct 3 rd May 1880.

With reference to the family on the 1910 census, have followed them through and believe that Edward died and Nellie remarried to Augusta Urban. Other information from ancestry tree says that particular Edward was born in Stockport. Cheshire.  :(

I see an Edward T. Jones crossing the border from Canada to St. Albans in Mar. 1919.  It says his last previous residence was London, Canada, he was going to Saginaw, Michigan, and he had no relatives in the country from whence he came.

Thats looking like the 1910 family with Nellie  ??? Wonder if they divorced and then Nellie remarried.  ??? Perhaps the family tree has the wrong birth place  ???

The Saginaw city directories have a Charles E. Jones and wife Eleanor E. at various addresses in the late '30's through 1950's and one of them seems to match the address on Edward's WWII draft registration card.  One from 1956 has them at 2118 Nebraska, so that seems to fit the address you had.

Wow, you have found out so much information!!

I am getting myself a bit confused now though!  Do you think this is the Edward Jones I have been searching for or is it all co-incidence?  Is there any way of finding out for sure?  I guess if I can find a way to find out his actual birthdate (which wont be easy due to the names!!)

I was always under the impression that John and Edward went off to America together, but maybe not.....

Sorry to be a pain... but can you tell me which website you used to find this information and what you searched for?  Thanks again  in advance, Sharon

Yes, that appears to be the correct marriage for the Edward on the Census.
