Can anyone tell me, where 3 RTR were based in the Middle East/North Africa.
Between the Dates:- 30th October 1940 - 19th August 1943.
He was wounded on 10th December 1941, and given a B1 Classification by the medical board in January 1942. (Base Duties).
Where was this in the Middle East and what would his duties have been??
He returned home 20th August 1943.
(Dates taken from his ww2 service records.)
Have details on Greece 41 and Operation Crusader that he took part in, and presume Operation Crusader was where he was wounded.
