Hi wozzle, the address only reads as Gateside but it was in the parish of Towie, I know there was a family living at the address from the census details from 1841-1901 but they're not living there on 1911 census, my greatgrandmother was born at the address in dec 1911 but her mother gave her up to her paternal grandparents so we dont know much about her so i thought if i could find out who was living there at the time of census it might give me some info on my great grandmothers mother.

there are certain street indexes of places which you can look up in 1911 unfortunately towie is not amongst them

Might be worth finding the address on the 1901 and work forward.

In 1901, Gateside was a farm.

Farmer was an Alexander Ross, 39. Also there a family of Ingrams and some boarders.
