Alexander Ross was still at Gateside in 1911*. Others there were James Kelman, 37, and Isabella Annabella Ingram, 22, both were servants.

Hi again vicki  :)

Did you get Elizabeth, Ethel's mother, on the 1911? She's in Leochel Cushnie, the next district to Towie. Also, she's only 2 households away from the Peters.

Hi, Vicki raised a great question that I have been stirring over also.
I am hoping other can be assistance for my dilemma also.
My GG grandmother was no longer living with her mother and father in the poorhouse at peterhead in the 1911 census.
I have come across some documents that she lived at 9 Sutherland Ave, Glasgow before she married. It looks live a very posh area
Her name was Mary Ann Neil, and I am unsure why her name was changed to king.
After mary Ann married Thomas Banks they lived at 139 Wolseley St, Glasgow, does anyone know what building this is, it looks like a poor house, very long grey buildings are their at present and did the king family live in Sutherland Ave? any help would be appreciated  thanks Shelly
