It looks like details of William's parents could be on the death certificate,

I've never used this site before but I think you could get a copy here,

http://www.ocba.sa.gov.au/bdm/forms.html#Deaths

Unfortunately there are alot of William MUNDY/MUNDAYs born in  the Wiltshire and Hampshire area around 1790-1794. If you just put William MUNDY 1792 =/-5 lots appear,

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

If you check with Google maps you can see how close they are. I know from living in that area a while ago that villages held fairs where people came to from miles around to amongst other things find or even buy wives :o

Oh, I do mean historically not this or last century ;D

If I remember correctly two were held at Appleshaw and Weyhill but I expect there were alot more, the grooms would then often marry in the bride's parish.

BMD indicies rarely list parents but a full certificate may do,if the informant knew.
